Texas Hell Week - Day 7: Hammer part two

Today's ride included the scenic Willow City loop. Hooked up with the hammer group again, and held on until Enchanted Rock, averaging over 20 mph for the 45 or so miles. There were some great vistas, reminding me of eastern Oregon. Enchanted Rock park was closed, so we all had to make due with the water we brought. Rode within my limits for the rest of the way back, and others seemed to be doing the same thing, as the 'peloton' was littered all along the road (trying to think of a better Liggetism...). Got my kitty fix at the closed Harry's BBQ in Willow City; a barn cat flopped over and wanted to be petted. This has been a great training week.
