Fail?: The Foshay

I'm disappointed. I had high hopes for the restoration of the Foshay in Minneapolis. Instead, it's an awkward mix of the original Art Nouveau/Art Deco and Midcentury Modern and trendy lighting. Of course I'm no expert, but I am a fan of both Art Nouveau and Midcentury Modern, and I think the two styles should inhabit their own worlds, not be mashed together. I should probably check it out in person; perhaps the impression from the photos is different than being there. Expert opinions?
