Democrats grow some balls...

...and once again it takes a woman (House Speaker Nancy Pelosi) along with Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid. They wrote a bold open letter to Bush as he deliberates the so-called "surge" for a much-needed change in course in Iraq. All indicators point to Bush pursuing this "surge" in spite of the fact the most military leaders and the rank-and-file think this would be a very bad idea. I agree. (Story at CNN.)
__So far I like Pelosi. No wonder the Republicans feared her.
