Team Type 1

My cousin died earlier this month of diabetes. She was my age, and lived longer than was projected for someone born in 1969 with Type 1 (insulin-dependent, inherited) diabetes. My younger cousin is doing well so far. Research has come a long way, but there's a long way yet to go. That's why I'll be rooting for these guys at the NVGP. I hope you will too!
