Non-cycling weekend

My mom and step-dad came up from Iowa this weekend. Normally Friday, Saturday and Sunday I'm on the bike, but between cleaning on Friday and the rainstorm, showing the family around on Saturday and the stiff wind and plain old laziness on Sunday I was off the bike the whole weekend! I feel like a bum, but I did get a lot of misc. stuff accomplished that tends to languish when cycling season comes around, so I don't feel too bad about it. In the end it was a very enjoyable weekend which carries over into the week with pleasant memories and a good mood. We'll see how well that works on tomorrow at Opus!
