Today I got my legs ripped off! Drew, Dan, David and Rick showed up, so I should have seen it coming. Ironically, the fastest teammates (Derrick and Tyler) usually make for a more mellow ride, except for the sprints when they unleash the fury. With this crew, it's more of a steady leg searing hammer fest. It was a cool, gray, "moist" day in the morning, so not especially fun, but the legs no longer feel like lumber. Saw some lambs and some fawns. Rode today with a group of fasties on a very hilly route. Fortunately, we had no wind early in the ride, and a nice tailwind coming home, so with pacelining and sprinting up the hills we averaged 19.3 for the 80 mile ride.  It wasn't a total sausage fest, as two women, including fast Katie, were riding with us.
